Stylish Shorts Held Back by Limited Range of Motion
I really wanted to like these shorts. The built-in jockstrap is supportive, the materials feel premium, and the overall look is great. Unfortunately, the design falls short when used for actual running or any activity requiring a full range of motion.
The biggest issue is the fabric and cut combination. The mesh material doesn't have enough give, and the side vents aren't deep enough to compensate. As a result, the shorts tend to ride up during strides, squats, lunges, or other dynamic movements. Because of the built-in jockstrap design, that means the shorts can end up exposing not just the jock but potentially everything else as well.
For a garment marketed as performance-ready, that's a significant flaw. A deeper side split would likely solve most of the problem by allowing the fabric to move with the body instead of being pulled upward.
If your goal is lounging, posing, or light activity, these may work well. If you're actually planning to run or train hard in them, be prepared for frequent adjustments.
